Current students who have paid for their classes, faculty, and staff use the Edison State College identification card as their library card to check out materials and log onto electronic resources. To get an I.D. card, students must go to Taeni Hall, S Building, Room 101. This office is open from 8:30am to 7pm Monday through Thursday, and from 8:30am to 4:30pm on Friday.
Present the card to the Library Circulation Desk staff to activate it for Library use. The circulation staff will adhere a borrower I.D. number (barcode number) to the back of the I.D. card. Current ESC faculty, students, and staff use this number to access Library databases and eBooks, and borrow resources from other libraries. Community members may obtain a courtesy borrower’s card to borrow books only.
Circulation Policies
Present a valid ESC I.D. card to borrow or renew resources. Borrowers are financially responsible for all resources charged to their account. The ESC Libraries reserve the right to recall any resource during the initial three weeks if requested by another patron. Cards are nontransferable. Notify the libraries about a lost or stolen card.
