Phase three of the College's classification and compensation study involves the implementation of a new performance evaluation process for staff. The new process and form was developed under the leadership of a task force which sought input from staff and supervisors during focus group sessions. Implemented this year as a pilot program, additional feedback will be sought after completion of the evaluations of staff.
As part of the implementation, we developed an interactive online program that explains the new evaluation process, defines the critical success factors and introduces the form. Included in the online program is a series of scenarios and self-checks to aid in understanding the process. All employees are encouraged to review this material and additional print resources (large print version) that are available.
The performance evaluation form can be downloaded here. Supervisors must complete a form for each staff member under their supervision. Upon completion of the form, please discuss the review, obtain appropriate signatures and return to the Office of Human Resources no later than Friday, October 9th.
