The Tutoring Center at the Hendry Glades Center provides free tutoring in a variety of introductory and advanced courses for interested Edison State College students. Both professional and peer tutors assist students with course content and learning strategies.
Students may schedule appointments or just walk in during open lab hours.
What does it take to become a Peer Tutor?
To be considered as a prospective Peer Tutor, students must:
Qualify to work at Edison State College
Have an overall GPA of 3.0
Be recommended by a professor
Have an “A” or “B” in the subject they would like to tutor
Complete the application process
