From a diverse collection of paintings from the school of “Old Masters” of the 15th and 16th centuries, to old world antiques capturing the artistic spirit of generations of captivating Italian culture, this exhibit is an educational journey through Italy – no passport required.

Exhibited by the Carpenter Art Galleries of Dartmouth College in 1959 
And attributed at that time  to Annibale Carracci Italian, School of Bologna (1560-1609)   also exhibited in 1961 at San Diego as a selection from the Richard H Rush Collection. It was identified as by Carlo Maratta by Robert and Bertina Manning, leading authorities and collectors in the field of Italian art.
