The Trevor Project is an American non-profit organization founded in 1998 and the leading national organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. The project also provides guidance and vital resources to parents and educators in order to foster safe, accepting and inclusive environments for all youth, at home and at school. The event will include a viewing of the 1994 Academy Award-winning short film Trevor, as well as, a panel discussion on ways to provide support in the schools for struggling youth. The event will take place on November 16th from 7-8:30 in U 102.
