Attention Florida Residents! To qualify for in state tuition, you must complete the required residency documentation and submit it along with supporting documentation to the admissions office! For more information regarding Florida Residency for tuition purposes visit the Florida Virtual Campus. Read more about the Florida Statutes on residency here. Students wishing to appeal their initial residency classification must submit an Appeal of Resident Status within 10 calendar days prior to the first day of class to the Admissions Office. The Dean of Student Services, the Associate Dean of Enrollment Management and the District Director of Admissions serve as the Residency Appeals Committee for Edison State College. The student/applicant will be informed in writing of the committee's decision.

Edison State College affirms its policy of open admissions. All applicants for admissions are considered solely on the basis of their academic qualifications without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, ethnicity, marital status, genetic information, sexual orientation, national origin or veteran’s status. Edison State College assesses a non-refundable application fee for all new students. The admissions application is not processed until the admissions application fee is received.

Edison State College reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant and to suspend or dismiss any student whose behavior is not in keeping with the best interests of Edison. Edison State College has assigned the responsibility for administering Edison's Admissions policies to the Office of the Registrar.
